Now on to my favorite photo finds this week...

I seem to have a thing of late with gold upholstery. I don’t OWN any and it's not on my wish list, but maybe it should be. Every time I see it in a photograph I’m drawn in. You’ll be drawn in, too, by the full tour of Patterson’s house AND the One Kings Lane feature I found this photo in, “5 Homes with Seriously Impressive Style.”
What I wouldn’t give to sink into those sectionals and see the light filter through that stained glass window. *Sigh*
Speaking of gold sofas…

Speaking of bespoke, check out the burnt oak four-poster bed in the master by Neal Beckstedt Studio. More gold velvet, more black, and Madeleine Castaing fabric wallcovering to boot—oh be still, my sleepy heart! See the full tour of this Gramercy Park gem on Architectural Digest.

More gold and black…What’s going on with me? Like I said, I have none of this in my home, but maybe I should. If so, this snazzy room with its fun anthropomorphic art would be a great place to start.
I attended a Pantone trends webinar this week in which they mentioned the emergence of a "cute-animals-dressed-like people" trend, so this bedroom is right on. I, on the other hand, am ahead of the game: I decorated my guest bath with cute animals dressed like humans over a year ago!

Both this bedroom and the previous one appeared in “Bedroom Inspiration Roundup: Cool Unconventional Themes.” Follow the link for more views of each room, plus three more themed bedrooms.

If you’re into nappy-time nooks, check out Architectural Digest’s “15 Cozy Beds Nestled in Wall Nooks,” which is where I found this photo.

This condo guest bedroom has me wanting the address and seriously considering camping out by the front door. There’s more gold to love (what’s not to love about gold?) in this serene and soothing escape by the flaxen-haired Emily Henderson. See more views of it, as well as other rooms in the “Orcondo Project Reveal.” It’s Chin-WOW!
Last but not least, something to occupy your hands

In addition to gold sofas and velvet of all colors, I'm a sucker for key tassels—i.e., elaborate POMPOMS—and that’s VERY boho deluxe, right? So when I saw Jessica Marquez’ DIY Summer Pompom Doorknob Garland, I made like a sponge and soaked it up. Something similar to this will appear on the Lawson front door very soon. If you make one, let’s compare! That’s what comments are for, ya know.
That’s a wrap on another week of BoHo Home. Enjoy your weekend, and follow my blog with Bloglovin or one of the to-your-inbox subscriptions in the sidebar. I'll be back Tuesday with more boho home decor inspiration.
