Barbie and Ken—creations of the 1960s—are posed by photographer David Parise to live the fun and (not so) innocent life we imagined that time period to be. The dolls are the original models, the clothes are the original outfits, and the photos are fittingly quirky and enticingly priced.

The collection makes a few accommodations for present-day sensibilities: Same-sex Barbie/Ken couples, inter-racial Barbie/Ken couples, B/K couples of all kinds doing all kinds of cheeky stuff, like Barbie casting her bikini top to the wind and Ken cooking in an apron-only. Parise also shows the REAL start of the selfie craze.
